The results are in! We had nearly 1,000 people respond to our COVID-19 survey, sharing their views on how they feel about our studios reopening around the world.
The good news is the results were overwhelmingly positive, and it’s fantastic to see you felt safe in our studios before the pandemic and still feel safe returning to our studios now that we’ve reopened our doors.
We’d like to thank you for your responses and want to reassure you that we will be maintaining our high safety and hygiene standards even more rigidly now that the business is open again.
Here’s what we learnt from your feedback…
Most respondents feel ‘extremely safe’ in our studios
We were happy to learn that nearly 90% of you felt ‘extremely safe’ with our health and safety procedures before Celebrity Ink™ studios closed around the world.
The rest of you said you felt ‘mostly safe to somewhat safe’ and none of our clients felt unsafe. This provides us with re-assurance that we are doing our best to serve you to a high standard and we will continue to do so in the new normal that we are now operating in.
Many of you don’t have concerns about re-opening the business
Regarding your health and wellbeing, more than 60% of you said you weren’t at all worried about getting a tattoo, piercing, tattoo removal or cosmetic tattoo when studios reopen post COVID-19 and that you’d like to come in straight away!
Nearly a quarter of you said you’ll probably visit us within three months of re-opening, as you weren’t very worried about your health and wellbeing, and a little over 10% of you said you were somewhat or extremely worried. The changes you want to see at our studios
While government regulations were of course always going to be adhered to, we wanted to know what else we could do to make sure we meet or exceed your expectations as clients.
We asked you what you felt was important for us to change within our studios to ensure we maintain a COVID-19 safe environment. For the majority of you (87%), it was important for us to maintain social distancing between tattoo beds. We removed about 50% of our beds to ensure this was adhered to, and diligently planned the bed placement in every Celebrity InkTM studio across the world to ensure you, our other clients, our artists and our management and staff are all properly socially distancing any time they are in our studios.
More than 80% of you said you also would like to see hand sanitiser upon entry and exit of the salon, and nearly 70% of you would like to see hand sanitiser available throughout the studio as well. We are pleased to advise that we have installed this for your wellbeing.
Over 60% of you wanted to see COVID-safe posters displayed throughout our studios, while a similar number of you would also like us to check temperatures on everyone entering our premises, turning away those who have a fever.
We’d like to let you know that we have listened to your feedback and have implemented these measures across all of our tattoo studios, ensuring a safe space for you to visit for your tattoo and piercing needs.

We were overwhelmed with the number of positive comments from those of you who shared your enthusiasm for coming back into the studios.
We received comments saying you are sure we will do our utmost to make sure our customers are safe, and many of you said you felt we were doing a great job taking care of hygiene standards before the outbreak of COVID.
This was wonderful to hear, as it is our mission to ensure our studios are sparkling clean and that we adhere to strict safety standards, regardless of COVID-19 or not.
Many of you also mentioned that you can’t wait for travel restrictions to be lifted because you’d like to plan a holiday to one of the destinations that feature our studios.
